How do I join Yuva Hat? Yuva Hat is joined by invitation. A family you know that uses Yuva gives you an invitation code. In the app, tap "Yeni aile kur" (Create a new family) → "Kodu yazarak gir" (Enter the code) and type the code. Each family can invite five families.

How do I add another phone to my family? Bring the phones side by side. On a phone already in the family, open Aile (Family) → Üye ekle (Add member) to show the code, and scan it with the new phone. The same pictures appear on both screens; the parents approve the new member. You can also send an invitation to someone far away.

Do I need an account or a phone number? No. Yuva Hat does not use an account, phone number or e-mail address. Your messages stay on your phones; there is no cloud backup.

How do I report an offensive message or block someone? Press and hold the message → "Şikayet et" (Report) or "… engelle" (Block). You can also use chat info → Güvenlik (Safety), Settings → Engellenenler (Blocked) and Settings → Şikayet et (Report). A blocked person's messages, calls and push-to-talk no longer reach you, and they are not notified. Reports reach us immediately and are reviewed within 24 hours.

I lost my phone. What should I do? The parents in your family can remove that phone from the family and have its data deleted.

How do I delete my data? Settings → "Bu telefondaki Yuva'yı sil" (Delete Yuva on this phone) deletes all Yuva data on the phone and your ring registration in the Mailbox. Since there is no account, there is no account on a server to delete. You can request deletion of your family number at info@mekanapp.com.

Can I use it in an emergency? Yuva Hat is not an emergency call service; in an emergency, call 112 (or your local emergency number).
