What it does

Yuva Hat works by invitation: a new family is set up with an invitation code from a family you know who already uses Yuva. The app is free.

Messaging
- One-to-one and group chats, plus a family group.
- Send photos, videos, documents and voice notes.
- Disappearing messages: when the timer ends, messages are deleted from both phones.

Calls and push-to-talk
- Voice and video calls, one-to-one or in a group.
- Push-to-talk: hold down someone's card, talk, let go; your voice arrives right away. Like a walkie-talkie.

Location and decisions
- Share your current location or live location for a set time (15 minutes, 1 hour, 8 hours). It stops by itself when time is up.
- Family polls: what to eat, where to go; decide together.

Privacy
- Messages, calls, photos and location are end-to-end encrypted: they open only on your family's phones.
- There is no cloud backup; your messages stay on your phones.
- If a phone is lost, parents can remove it from the family.
