Yuva Bakım Data Deletion

This page explains how you can delete your data in Yuva Bakım, an app developed by ESER TEKNOLOJİK PAZARLAMA ANONİM ŞİRKETİ, and how to turn following off.

Yuva Bakım does not create an account and does not ask for your name, phone number or e-mail. There is therefore no account to delete on a server. The morning rhythm, messages and area records are stored encrypted on your family's phones; we cannot see them. Location is not recorded.

The app is in Turkish; button names are given in Turkish with their meaning in brackets.

1. Turning following off

  • Morning rhythm: The person being followed can turn following off at any moment on their own phone with "Takibi kapat" (Turn off following); their family is told when they do.
  • A child's area messages: Turned off in the area with "Bölge haberini kapat" (Turn off area messages). When the child turns 18 the messages stop by themselves.

2. Deleting in the app

  • All information on this phone: Remove Yuva Bakım from the phone. All Yuva Bakım information and encryption keys on that phone are deleted. There is no cloud backup.
  • Lost phone: Parents in the family can select that phone in Kayıp telefon (Lost phone) and remove it with "Aileden çıkar ve sil" (Remove from family and wipe); the phone wipes its Yuva data as soon as it connects to the internet.
  • Leaving the family: Ask the parents in your family to remove you from the family, then remove the app from your phone.
  • Records on your family's phones: Messages that already went to your family may remain on your family's other phones.

3. Deletion request by e-mail

If you want the e-mails you sent us deleted, or have another request:

  1. Send an e-mail to info@mekanapp.com with the subject "Yuva Bakım data deletion".
  2. Write which data you want deleted.

Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest.

4. Deleted and retained data

  • Morning rhythm, messages and area records: on your family's devices until you or your family delete them.
  • Location: not recorded; only the "arrived" or "left" message is kept.
  • IP address: not kept by us; we do not operate a server in this network.
  • Code scanning library diagnostic data: subject to its provider's own retention periods; we do not see or store it.
  • E-mails you send us: at most 1 year after your question is resolved.
