Yuva Bakım Child Safety Standards

This page describes the standards ESER TEKNOLOJİK PAZARLAMA ANONİM ŞİRKETİ applies in the Yuva Bakım app against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and the rules for child members.

1. Zero tolerance

Yuva Bakım does not allow, in any form, child sexual abuse and exploitation, producing, sharing or storing such content, grooming children for abuse, or sexualising children. This prohibition is set out in section 5 of the Terms of Use, and violating it results in permanent removal from the service.

2. How the app is built

  • Yuva Bakım is used only within a family. There are no public profiles, search, discovery, matching with strangers or messages from outside the family.
  • A phone can join a family only by scanning, side by side, the code shown by a phone already in the family; the joining is confirmed on both phones. Parents approve a child joining the family.
  • Nobody outside the family can reach a child or see their information.

3. Visible following, with the child's knowledge

  • A child's area messages (arrived home, left school) cannot be turned on without informing the child.
  • The child's screen shows an indicator that cannot be hidden.
  • The child's location is not recorded; only "arrived" or "left" goes to the family. Nobody can see the child's live location.
  • When the child turns 18 the messages stop; the decision passes to them.
  • No additional data is collected from the child. There is no advertising or tracking.

4. Reporting and action

  • Parents can remove a member or a phone from the family.
  • You can report a child safety concern to us at info@mekanapp.com. Because the content in the app is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot see it; we review the information you choose to include in your report.
  • Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. A person found to be involved in child abuse or exploitation is removed from the service. Information relating to child abuse is reported to the competent authorities as required by law (in Türkiye, the relevant law enforcement units and the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office; where necessary, NCMEC in the United States), and we respond to their requests within the legal framework.

5. Compliance with law

Yuva Bakım complies with the laws in force on child safety, in particular the legislation of the Republic of Türkiye, and with the policies of the app stores.
