Yuva Acil Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern the use of the Yuva Acil mobile app. The service is provided by ESER TEKNOLOJİK PAZARLAMA ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (İsmet Kaptan Mah. Şair Eşref Bulv. No:18/82 Konak, İzmir, Türkiye) ("we"). Contact: info@mekanapp.com. By using the app you accept these terms.
1. What the app offers
Yuva Acil is an app for a family to prepare for earthquakes and emergencies and to reach each other in them: SOS, "I'm OK", a family emergency plan and short messages to nearby family phones when there is no internet (disaster mode). Only people approved by phones already in the family can join it.
Yuva Acil is free. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions or advertising.
2. It does not replace 112
- Yuva Acil is not an emergency call service and does not replace 112. In an emergency, call 112.
- An SOS goes only to the phones in your family; it does not go to 112, the police or medical teams.
- Whether an SOS or "I'm OK" arrives depends on your family's phones, on those phones being on, charged and connected, and on their notification and battery settings. We cannot guarantee that an SOS will arrive or that someone in your family will see it.
- In disaster mode, messages go only to nearby family phones over Bluetooth; the range depends on the surroundings.
- Location comes from the phone's own location service and may be inaccurate or missing.
3. No account, your responsibility
- The app does not use an account, phone number or e-mail. Your information is stored encrypted on your family's phones.
- There is no cloud backup. If a phone is lost or wiped, its information remains on the family's other devices.
- Protecting your phone and, if set, your app lock (PIN, or face or fingerprint) is your responsibility.
- Family members are responsible for the accuracy of the family emergency plan (meeting point, emergency contacts, assembly area). Check the assembly area with official sources.
- If a phone is lost, the parents in the family can remove it from the family.
4. Rules of use
You agree not to use the app:
- for unlawful purposes,
- to send false SOS alerts to frighten or deceive family members,
- to unlawfully collect other people's personal information or infringe others' rights,
- to store or share child sexual abuse material or private images obtained without consent,
- for fraud or impersonation,
- in a way that disrupts, overloads or abuses the app or the connection services through reverse engineering.
Because we cannot see the content in the app, family members are responsible for the SOS alerts, messages and plan information they send.
5. Children
Children use the app once their parents add them to the family and under their supervision. Parents approve a child joining the family.
6. Connection and continuity of service
An open peer-to-peer network is used to connect your family's devices; nodes in the network cannot see the content. We make reasonable efforts to maintain the app but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.
7. Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from an SOS, "I'm OK" or notification that does not arrive or arrives late, inaccurate or missing location, data loss due to a lost phone, or reliance on the app in emergencies. Yuva Acil is not an emergency call service; in emergencies, call 112.
8. Intellectual property
The app's name, icon and software belong to ESER TEKNOLOJİK PAZARLAMA ANONİM ŞİRKETİ. The information you add to the app is yours. Licenses of the open-source components used in the app are listed in the app.
9. Changes and termination
If these terms change, this page is updated. Material changes are announced in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. If the service is to be discontinued, this is announced in the app at least 30 days in advance. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. Effective date: the day the app is first published in the store. Last updated: 25 October 2026.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. İzmir courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction over disputes. Consumers retain the right to apply to the consumer arbitration committee or consumer court of their place of residence under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, within the monetary limits announced each year.
