Yuva Acil Data Deletion

This page explains how you can delete your data in Yuva Acil, an app developed by ESER TEKNOLOJİK PAZARLAMA ANONİM ŞİRKETİ.

Yuva Acil does not create an account and does not ask for your name, phone number or e-mail. There is therefore no account to delete on a server. SOS, "I'm OK", the family emergency plan and disaster mode messages are stored encrypted on your family's phones; we cannot see them.

1. Deleting in the app

  • Plan entries: In Plan you can edit and delete the meeting point, emergency contacts, who picks up whom and the safe spot at home (parents and adults).
  • An SOS sent by mistake: On the SOS sent screen tap "Yanlışlıkla bastım" (I pressed it by mistake); your family receives the note "Pressed by mistake, I'm OK" and the notifications stop.
  • All information on this phone: Remove Yuva Acil from the phone. All Yuva Acil information and encryption keys on that phone are deleted. There is no cloud backup.
  • Lost phone: Parents in the family can select that phone in Family and remove it with "Aileden çıkar ve sil" (Remove from family and wipe); the phone wipes its Yuva data as soon as it connects to the internet.
  • Leaving the family: Ask the parents in your family to remove you from the family, then remove the app from your phone.
  • What you sent to your family earlier: SOS and "I'm OK" records you sent may remain on your family's devices; your family sees them on their own phones.

2. Deletion request by e-mail

If you want the e-mails you sent us deleted, or have another request:

  1. Send an e-mail to info@mekanapp.com with the subject "Yuva Acil data deletion".
  2. Write which data you want deleted.

Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest.

3. Deleted and retained data

  • SOS, "I'm OK", plan and disaster messages: on your family's devices until you or your family delete them.
  • Location: only inside the SOS or "I'm OK" record you sent; no separate location history is kept.
  • IP address: not kept by us; we do not operate a server in this network.
  • Code scanning library diagnostic data: subject to its provider's own retention periods; we do not see or store it.
  • E-mails you send us: at most 1 year after your question is resolved.
